What is KarmaCBN?

KarmaCBN is softgel that contains concentrated cannabinol (CBN). There are several natural components of hemp plants such as cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes that are contained in our CBN softgels. In addition to providing relaxation, CBN softgels supports healthy sleep cycles as a result of its high cannabinol content.

What is CBN?

CBN is a non-intoxicating compound that is best known as the cannabinoid created when THC ages. CBN is known for its relaxing and sedative properties which is why it's popular with people who have sleep issues.

What does CBN do?

By incorporating CBN sleep aid properties into your daily routine, you can keep your sleep cycle on track.

CBN has not been studied as much as CBD and THC, although their mechanisms of action have been linked to CB1 and CB2 receptors. It has been shown that cannabinol acts on the TRPA-1, TRPV-2, TRPV-3, and TRPV-4 cell receptors. It has been reported that CBN produces a deep sense of relaxation, and helps you fall to sleep quickly and stay asleep for longer periods of time.

Will CBN help me sleep?

KarmaCBN may help you stay asleep longer and fall asleep faster if taken 30 minutes before bed. CBN users report feeling refreshed upon waking up, without feeling groggy. You shouldn't take CBN before operating heavy machinery or driving due to its sleep-supporting properties. Water-soluble, KarmaCBN provides even greater sleep cycle support than other products on the market.

How do I use CBN Softgels?

Take your CBN soft gels with 8 oz of water 30 minutes before bedtime for the best results.

Will Karma CBN get you high?

CBN cannot give you a high since it is derived from CBNA, which is itself a chemically altered version of THCA. Cannabinol (CBN) was thought to be responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis before delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) was identified as the main active component. Today, however, the CBN cannabinoid is known not to cause the “high” produced by consuming cannabis.

Is CBN legal?

Absolutely, CBN is legal. The 2018 Farm Bill included Section 297A that legalized hemp and all derivatives, extracts, and cannabinoids with a THC concentration of 0.3 percent or less. In the United States, CBN is a legal cannabinoid since it is derived from hemp and does not contain THC.

What is CBN vs CBD?

The hemp plant naturally contains cannabinoids, or molecules similar to cannabis, called phytocannabinoids, such as cannabinol and cannabidiol. Plants produce both CBN and CBD at different stages of their life cycles, with CBN appearing much later and in lower concentrations than CBD. CBD binds to the CB2 receptor and to the allosteric site of CB1, whereas CBN binds to the TRPA-1, TRPV-2, TRPV-3, and TRPV-4 receptors. CBN is also well supported as a sleep-promoting supplement and is more effective than CBD, while CBD has a broader range of benefits, including mood enhancement, joint health promotion and more.

CBD Info

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a naturally occurring compound found in the resinous flower of cannabis, a plant with a rich history as a medicine going back thousands of years. Today the therapeutic properties of CBD are being tested and confirmed by scientists and doctors around the world. A safe, non-addictive substanceCBD is one of more than a hundred “phytocannabinoids,” which are unique to cannabis and endow the plant with its robust therapeutic profile.

CBD is closely related to another important medicinally active phytocannabinoid: tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the compound that causes the high that cannabis is famous for. These are the two components of cannabis that have been most studied by scientists.

Both CBD and THC have significant therapeutic attributes. But unlike THCCBD does not make a person feel “stoned” or intoxicated. That’s because CBD and THC act in different ways on different receptors in the brain and body.

Because CBD is non-psychoactive, it won’t make you high.

What is the difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum?

The main difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD is which compounds they contain.

If a CBD product contains several naturally occurring cannabis plant extracts, such as terpends and other cannabinoids (including up to 0.3% THC), it is full spectrum CBD.

Broad spectrum CBD also contains several cannabis plant compounds, but it is typically entirely free of THC. That said, there may sometimes be trace amounts of THC in broad spectrum CBD products.

CBD isolate is the third common form of CBD. This is the pure form of CBD, containing no other cannabis plant compounds.

Do any of the products contain THC? Will I get high?

CBD is generally catagerozed as being either 'broad spectrum' or 'full spectrum'. KARMA Nutrients only sells broad spectrum CBD products, which contains 0% THC. Our products will not get you high.

Is CBD Legal?

After the US Federal government passed the Farm Bill in December 2018, it was taken off of the list of controlled substances and moved to the regulation of the FDA, instead of the DEA. This makes CBD legal as long as it is sourced from industrial hemp and does not contain more than 0.3% THC.

How is our CBD manufactured?

Our CBD is manufactured by Joy Organics in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in Fort Collins, Colorado. All of the products are made with USDA-certified organic material. They have the strictest product safety standards in the industry.

What's the difference between CBD and Marijuana?

Although both are from the same plant species called Cannabis, they are 2 very distinct plants that differ in genetics, cultivation, and chemical process. Hemp is cultivated for many things including: rope, fabric, food, CBD extracts, etc. Marijuana is cultivated to yield high levels of THC. Hemp has very low levels of THC (defined as 0.3% and under) and has no intoxicating properties, where marijuana can contain levels that exceed 20%.

What is The Entourage Effect?

The Entourage Effect is a theory that all compounds in cannabis work together. When taken together, the result is a better effect than when alone.

Will CBD cause me to fail a drug test?

Be aware that when considering consuming CBD goods with THC, there is a potential that such consumption may cause a positive drug test result. KARMA products does not currently offer any products containing THC.

***KARMA does not take responsibility in the instance a consumer fails a drug test while taking our products. Prior to consuming these products consult with your healthcare practitioner, drug screening/testing company and/or employer***.
